Coniunctio Conjunction
In the vessel. The separated elements are joined for the first time. The greater marriage of opposites comes much later in the work.
In a life. A first reunion of what was divided: thought and feeling, strength and tenderness. It is lived as wholeness, however brief, as if two things at war had agreed to a truce.
